Hey folks! This is going to be a very short post, just wanted to let y’all know something:
I want to comment on your posts. I want so badly to chime in with encouragement or sympathy or what-have-you. But if your commenting system looks like this:
then I am not able to. I do most of my blogging and commenting during my lunch break at work (after work is usually taken up with barn stuff or laundry or adulting stuffs), and for some reason the firewall/internet gnomes block that type of commenting system.
I’m pretty much limited to WordPress and self-hosted blogs. So to all of you guys on Blogger or Blogspot, I’m sending you warm fuzzies! Hopefully the internet gnomes will let this happen eventually, or I’ll give in and log in from home at some point.
Happy Friday!
hrm that’s kinda annoying for you! i’m lucky to have pretty much no firewall at work (my job heavily relies on scouring the internet so any limit to that would be counterproductive)…

It’s so frustrating! I love your updates and always want to let you know that, but for whatever reason, my internet eats blogspot for lunch. Harrumph.

I’m forever the “anonymous” commenter if blogs don’t have an option for those of us that aren’t bloggers 🙂

I tried that too! For whatever reason, no matter how I fill out that form, it gets eaten instead of posted. My internet seems to have a preference for WordPress 😦

I think my computer at home used to do this, but I don’t know how it was fixed. Have you tried a difference browser?

No, that’s a good call. I use firefox most of the time, but I think there’s a couple other options on my work computer. Definitely going to give that a try! I feel bad just lurking on those blogs.

My darling, you are a warrior genius goddess. Internet Explorer doesn’t eat my comments. Success!!!

I feel your pain but have never properly blogged it. Yay for EE and IE!

Alright! Glad you said it! I’m not the only one!
I hate it, since it shuts me off from several other lovely blogs, but I, too, have had to limit my commenting to sites where my notes won’t keep bouncing off. Sadly.

Emily from The Exquisite Equine gave me a great tip- if I give it a try on Internet Explorer it actually works (most of the time)! I’m hoping this will make it easier to reach out to some more of these awesome blogs I’ve been lurking around.

That’s what I have on the pc at home. It works somewhat. But still with multiple steps.
With the phone, nah, I’ve given up.
